Sigrid Merx is an Associate Professor of Theatre Studies at Utrecht University. Her research focuses on how situated art and performance can act as productive sites to negotiate contemporary frictions, concerns, and debates in and about urban public spaces. Currently, she is focusing on the use and value of creative methods for academic teaching and research.
