Joseph Heathcott

Joseph Heathcott is a writer, photographer, and educator based in New York. He is Professor of Urban Studies and Director of the Laboratory for Urban Spatial and Landscape Research at The New School, and has also taught at London School of Economics, Sciences Po Paris, and University of Vienna. He held the U.S. Fulbright Distinguished Chair to the United Kingdom, the Mellon Distinguished Fellowship in Architecture and Urbanism at Princeton University, and was a Senior Visiting Scholar at the CUNY Graduate Center. In the Fall of 2024, he will be a Visiting Scholar at the Russell Sage Foundation.
