Helena Holgersson & Erik Florin Persson
Helena Holgersson holds a PhD in Sociology and works as a Senior Lecturer in Cultural Studies at the Department of Cultural Sciences at Gothenburg University, Sweden. Helena Holgersson has done research on irregular migration, gentrification and post-political urban planning. Among her recent publications are "Revisiting the Urban Frontier Through the Case of New Kvillebäcken" (City No 5-2016) with Catharina Thörn, and "Keep Walking: Notes on How to Research Urban Pasts and Futures" in (Charlotte Bates & Alex Rhys-Taylor) Walking Through Social Research (Routledge, 2017). Erik Florin Persson is a Ph.D. candidate in Film Studies at the University of Gothenburg. His dissertation project concerns the municipal use of film and other audio-visual media in the city of Gothenburg from the late 1930s to the mid-2010s. His most recent publication is "Useful cinema and the dynamic film history beyond the national archive: Locating municipally sponsored Swedish city films in local archives', in Journal of Scandinavian Cinema, 7:2, 2017. He is also on the editorial board of the Swedish cultural journal Ord&Bild.
