Lawrence Webb & Johan Andersson
Lawrence Webb is Lecturer in Film Studies at the University of Sussex. He is author of 'The Cinema of Urban Crisis: Seventies Film and the Reinvention of the City' (Amsterdam University Press, 2014) and co-editor, with Johan Andersson, of 'Global Cinematic Cities: New Landscapes of Film and Media' (Wallflower Press, 2016). He is currently co-editing, with Joshua Gleich, 'Hollywood On Location: An Industry History' (Rutgers University Press) and, with Johan Andersson, 'The City in American Cinema: Postindustrialism, Gentrification and Urban Culture' (IB Tauris). Johan Andersson is a Lecturer in the Department of Geography at King’s College London. He was previously a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Leeds and Visiting Scholar at the Graduate Center, City University New York, and holds a PhD in urban studies from University College London (2008). He is the editor, with Lawrence Webb, of Global Cinematic Cities: New Landscapes of Film and Media (Wallflower/Columbia University Press, 2016).
