Angelo Restivo
Angelo Restivo is Associate Professor of Moving Image Studies in the School of Film, Media & Theatre at GSU. His first book, The Cinema of Economic Miracles, explored how Italian cinema negotiated the transformation of urban space in a period of rapid modernization. His recently published book, Breaking Bad and Cinematic Television (Duke 2019), elaborates a concept of the “cinematic” that cuts across media boundaries and opens onto spatial questions in all of contemporary media.
